Low-E™ Reflective Insulation is designed to provide maximum thermal efficiency as well as sound deadening properties. Low-E™ can be installed in all areas of your *vehicle. From your firewall back, Low-E™ can keep heat where it should be, away from you! Besides stopping heat it also will not absorb any moisture unlike conventional "jute" backing. Without moisture theres no mold/mildew or rust worries. The product is manufactured using a 1/4" polyethylene foam core. It is not bubble pack material! The product also has an STC rating of 40 which means it also acts as a sound deadener.

*Low-E should not be placed directly against or near headers, mufflers or anything producing a high volume of heat.
